This weekend, Columbia Alumni Association of the UAE volunteered for the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019! We teamed up with NYUAD Athletics and had the opportunity to work on the Motorized Activity Training Program (MATP) and assisted Special Olympics USA during their soccer practice!
We were joined by Tim Shriver, Chairman of the Special Olympics and Daina Shilts X-Games, Special Olympics Athlete, the first sports broadcaster with intellectual disabilities from ESPN.
