Dubai Cares is a UAE-based philanthropic organization working to provide children in developing countries access to quality education regardless of gender, nationality, race or religion.
And so we were very happy to volunteer in Dubai Cares Back to School Initiative for Syrian refugee children in Jordan. We assembled over 8,000 school kits that included a backpack, pencil case, notebooks, calculator, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, pens and crayons, among other stationery supplies which will be distributed to the children before they begin the upcoming academic year.
It was such a rewarding experience to volunteer and contribute to a field that we are all so passionate about, education!
